The RCD is a committed practitioner and partner in watershed protection, restoration and management including sedimentation and flood control stressing vegetative management and protection of wildlife habitat; Water Quality-Improvement through erosion reduction, pesticide, herbicide and nutrient management; Water conservation including water resources management and development, irrigation efficiency, irrigation use and improvements, groundwater recharge, salt-water prevention and control, and soil salinity control
